About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Honoring the spirit of Coushsurfing. I am NOT on CS to find a romantic relationship. I am already happily married. If you are trying to find “love” or sell me a tour, please find another app, tool, or space to do that. The Couchsurfing community is meant to be a completely free and safe exchange of travelers connecting with, hosting, and being hosted by other travelers. Meet ups are great, but if it feels like a date, I’m out. Keep Couchsurfing friendly, safe, and free! :)
ABOUT ME
If variety is the spice of life, then I like it extra spicy. I believe in different strokes for different folks. I like to think that I am a healthy optimist-realist mix. I give thumbin' a big thumbs up. I live frugally because every dollar is a vote. I like learning for the sake of learning and giving back in any way I can. And I’m forever in search of a horse to ride!
PHILOSOPHY
"So we are on earth for a finite amount of time. And time is a man-made perception. And we perceive time passing through change-- seasons, aging, things like that. So to expand our time on earth, we must incite as much change in our lives as possible."
-HONY
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by hosting, surfing, cooking, singing, and dancing with other couch surfers. I welcome new members to the community in the same gracious way that I was welcomed to CS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking across the United States, through Europe, and around Central America were among the most incredible experiences of my life. I was happy to learn over and over again what too many people so often forget: there is far more good in this world than bad.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn about computers, music, and cooking (always). I can teach you English and how to repair your own clothes. I can also tell you a good bit about wine and hitchhiking.
I'd like to share these verses with you:
"The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.
It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.
I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment."
– Rabindranath Tagore
