About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be like a fox walking on ice...
ABOUT ME
I strive to be a better Buddhist and truly live my life for the benefit of all human beings. I drink too much strong coffee. I love to garden, especially with young people, and I cook almost everything with loads of garlic and black pepper.
PHILOSOPHY
"When I look at your face, I want to let go and share your madness, which I carry inside of me like a secret and cannot conceal any more. I am full of acute, awesome joy. It is the joy one feels when one has accepted death and disintegration, a joy more terrible and more profound than the joy of living, of creating." -Anais Nin
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
uggh. minimally. Couch Surfing is great, but I am a pretty low-maintenance participant. Feel free to shoot me a request and try to change that!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I really enjoy hosting, although it's rare that anyone travels through my parts of the world (redneck Massachusetts and rebel Sudan)
Interests
I love excellent literature. I love discussions with anthropologists (of all sorts). I love breathing deep when the neem trees are in blossom. I love homesteading-type arts like lacto-fermented pickling and knitting endless sweaters and harvesting raspberries.
