About Me
I'm a 25-year-old disaster relief worker from Detroit, Michigan. My most recent trip was trekking in Peru, but I have backpacked most of western Europe (and some of eastern), toured all of Central America, road tripped across the US, and lived and worked long term in a number of federal disaster zones, among other misadventures. I lived in cooperative housing for years in college and now live in a cooperative house in Detroit with good friends and one pup. I am big on political activism, live music, good whiskey, disasters, secretly drinking in museums, petting every dog I see, and having an embarrassingly large knowledge base on historical facts and fantasy fiction. I am currently unable to host but hope to in the near future; in the meantime, I am traveling often and always eager to learn cities from locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been lucky enough to be hosted around the world by very generous friends, and to have hosted friends from around the world as well - but now I can keep track of all of it somewhere.
