well, to see the world on a small budget; because it's the only one i have:) in an attempt to broaden my personal world.

ABOUT ME

i have either given away or sold practically all of my possessions and set off on a voyage around the world with nothing but my backpack. i am very fond of eccentricity and different outlooks. my mission is to see what the world has to offer. i left my friends and family in peace and hope to return with peace of mind. i am willing to exchange a helping hand around the house in exchange for limited stay.

PHILOSOPHY

i was raised catholic, though, ironically, my mother is buddhist and my father is aitheist. i believe that there is a mysterious force of energy which pulls us all and that our purpose is to feel it and understand our own influence. i am vegan going on vegetarian due to traveling conveniences/inconveniences. i do not expect others to understand or conform. i wish to cause no pain or suffering to accomodate me.

i have never tried couchsurfing before but i have been given this sweet tip off from several people interested in and supporting my own personal adventure:). i promise that i will contribute in any way i can to any household i am blessed with.

Interests

i love to read, sketch, hike, camp, climb... i am interested in anything that might be interesting. :p traveling is a special treat for me; staying in exotic and new places. learning new languages and trying new foods....soaking in the sights; breathing the air.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies range anywhere from city of lost children to lock stock and two smoking barrels; from 28 later to old school, the salton sea, tide land. i love horror, drama, comedy. foreign films, especially european and asian. music: primus, cake, jimmy hendrix, left field, slightly stoopid, bass nectar, pretty lights, lords of acid.... too much to list really. books: house of the scorpion, darma punks, house of leaves, a billion days of earth, on the road, etc. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i lived in haiti for 2 months when i was 7 years old in either orphanages or peoples houses. i have been to mt. mochu pichu and gone down the amazon river before staying in the jungle. i have visited the bahamas and amsterdam. i am in tanzania now. in all of these place i have seen breathtaking animals, met amazing people, and have seen awe inspiring sights. i used to blow glass in the states and i have danced with the moscow ballet...
