Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Last summer I rode my bicycle across the United States for Affordable housing. I pedaled 4,112 miles from Charleston, South Carolina to Santa Cruz, California with 31 other young adults to bring awareness about affordable housing to large town USA and small town USA. I learned about my own motivations in life, I saw the impact 32 young adults can have in the world, I saw us bring elders to tears about what we were doing, I saw us bring to tears the families we helped, I saw us cry after we finished buiding an entire house in Colorado springs, and I witnessed more than what words can describe. I was surrounded by determination, team building, and positive attitudes daily. Everyday I experienced a different gift given to me or passed on through me to someone else. Not only that I had the chance to experience America from a differnt perspective, from a bike seat. The scenery didn't rush by me like it does daily in a car, I learned to really appreciate the earth that surrounds me every day!
