Overview
About Me
If there is one word to describe myself I would say that I am international. I am 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 German but hold a Canadian citizenship. I will be studying at Aarhus School of Business. At my home university in Canada, I am currently working on a double major in sociology and political science.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the best way to experience a new culture is to make friends with locals and be introduced to their authentic lifestyles. Also as a sociology student, meeting new people from different cultures would give me a greater perspective of the society.
Interests
I love to paint and playing piano. Whenever I am with friends, we would go to a bar and socialize or travel together to have a good time. Whenever I need quiet time, I would go to Starbucks at night to do my artworks or to read books at the book store. Also I love fashion and know how to sew. I have been accepted into fashion design school in the past.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have written "the Sociology of Fashion" as my bachelor thesis. Because of my passion towards fashion, I conducted a study at Bloor fashion district in Toronto. During my study I analyzed the social interaction between consumers and products. From that experience I was able to view the fashion industry through a symbolic perspective.
Teach, Learn, Share
At my home university, I interact with a lot of international exchange students. It is always a new experience learning their culture and study together. At times, I would host dinner parties and invite everyone over to have a great time
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my sociological studies as well as stories of my university life with hosts. At the same time I am a great cook and I am completely open to share my special recipes.
