I think it´s the perfect way to get in touch with the places itself, because you get the chance to see it in a very personal way. What does the shape of a city tells you about the people, who are living in it? I´m not interested in the touristy places and hotels, travelling includes something more than you can find on a postcard or souvenir shop :).

My absolutely favorite movie is the fabulous name of Ameliè Poulain, but generally I would say, that I like stories (in movies and books) with a normal-abnormal reality, with characters, who you may meet in real life, but who would be very special or crazy

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did a 6 month voluntary service at the countryside of India, two hours away from Kolkata (Calcutta). I lived in a host family and worked at a Nursury and Elementary school. It was so beautiful to live with their culture, I learned such a lot of things and also got a kind of a second home. Afterwards I travelled two months through the country, a time in which I felt completly free and happy to see this caleidoscope of amazing people and places.
