About Me
Hello 🌻
My name is Amelie, and I am a forestry student at the University of Göttingen, Germany. I live with my dog, Alva. She’s the most beautiful, amazing, and lovable Labrador Retriever you’ve ever seen. We’re a great team and would love to meet new people! 🧳
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m excited to meet new people from all over the world and find a cozy place to sleep along the way. 😴
I can also show you parts of my everyday life, if you’re interested and stay overnight at my place 🏡

Music, Movies, and Books
I love almost every kind of music, especially rock, metal, punk rock, alternative, indie, reggae, folk, rap, and classical. I enjoy deep movies that leave me with a lot to think about, but I also appreciate films that simply make me happy while watching them. I read a lot, particularly generational literature, science books, political works, as well as romance and fantasy books. 🧚🏻♀️
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went travelling to Marocco , Mexiko, Guatemala, Latvia, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic’s, England, the Netherlands, Sweden, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece,.. and did some proper dog trekking in Germany 💚
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m studying Forestry and Forest Ecology at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen 🌳I grew up on a farm before moving to Göttingen, so I’m no stranger to hard work. In addition to my studies, I also work as a waitress. So I can probably help you with everything if I’m coming over 💪🏼☺️
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m happy to share stories from my travels, help with cooking or household tasks, and introduce you to some German culture. I can also teach you a bit of German if you’re interested! My dog, Alva, and I love spending time outdoors, so if you’re up for a walk or hike, we’d be glad to have you join us. Most importantly, I’m excited to connect, exchange ideas, and create some great memories together!
I’m very easygoing—if you prefer, I can head out in the morning and return in the evening, but I’d also love to share a glass of wine or beer together in the evenings. I’m a smoker, but it won’t be a problem as I always smoke outside.
