ABOUT ME

We met in Thailand few month ago and we have been travelling around southeast asia together before running out of money and deciding to move together to Australia to work.
We are both Enthusiastic on life to put it simply. We are just basically happy to take in any new experience presented to us. We are always smiling and laughing, if you are not a generally happy person we probably wouldn't fit in too well. Um, beyond that personally describing one of us would take entirely too long so...to make a story short Johnny is this crazy dude from New York who have been traveling the world and already lived few lives and Amelie is a lovely french girl.
This has been filled in by both of us so excuse the lack of similarities in writing style and use of language.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy. Be good to others even if it is a bit problematic at the times. Firm believer of Karma. We both take every day as a gift.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I ( Amelie) am involved as a couchsurfer since few years now either as a host ( Brussels) or guest ( Bulgaria, Istanbul, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia...). I met so much friends through couchsurfing. Back in Melbourne in Australia this year I have been active in couchsurfing Melbourne and I met people who became my best friends since from Canada, Spain, Colombia, Mexico... Johnny is new on couchsurfing but the philosophy is fitting in definitely with him.We can promise that once we are settled, we will host and the travelers will have the best experience one could ask for.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always found amazing people through couch surfing, never bad ones. While being a C.F. in Melbourne we organized a bunch of people that we had through the site doing the same thing, couch surfing, and organized a road trip. We drove from Melbourne up to Alice Springs in the Australian's desert. We had the best time of our life, 15 people from Sweden, Israel, USA, French, Spain, Colombia, Mexico...Surely one of my best memories

Music, Art, Life, Love, Travel, People, Experiences. We can find interests in almost anything. We are both very different from each other yet similar at the same time. We love it all.

All types of Cinema, from blockbuster to Independent cinema, Definitely Movie lovers. we listen eclectic type of music, from old Rock n Rolls to dub step depending the time of the day. We are currently listening non stop #Girl talk mash-up#

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For Amelie, Quitting her job in Paris and start traveling, for Johnny, movied from the USA and has been living all over Thailand for the last year... for both deciding to move ahead together and travel the world. Last things done together, it must be this beautiful temple Doi Suthep in Chang Mai Thailand and Ankgor Wat in Cambodia. As We have done several in the last month alone. Let's sit down have a beer and swap some stories. But I must say it has all been amazing regardless of locations, it's always been the friends we have made along the way that have brought us our best memories and experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are both please to learn new things from everyone. Life is about people you meet, experiences you lived. we could grew up from our mistake but also after a good conversation, a travel an experience. Food lovers I enjoy learning from different culture. Between both we speak 3 different languages which make any border infinite.
