Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting locals is always fantastic, especially when travelling alone and/or being slightly disoriented in a new place you're in. I've found that staying with people I don't know at all or not very well has always been a great experience, not only because it means overcoming my own initial awkwardness and becoming more comfortable and confident, but also because it's always heartwarming when the currency you're trading in is in the first place mutual respect and friendliness.

Music, Movies, and Books
i listen to a lot of different music: laura marling, lauryn hill, hozier, james blake, paolo nutini, disclosure, T Swift, jeff buckley, ...
books: i am addicted to the neopolitan novels series by elena ferrante right now! i also love the dream of a common language, unspeakable things, the english patient, NW, americanah and many more.
i like artsy movies with slow plots like lost in translation or in the mood for love but i'm equally happy watching stuff like it's complicated or pitch perfect.
