Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Odesa (the South of Ukraine), I moved to Lviv (the Western part) due to the full-scale invasion. Here I met some wonderful people and started traveling a little. I haven't been to many countries yet, but I have a huge desire to fix it! Love eating tasty food, laughing with fun people and petting dogs on the streets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Recently I was traveling to Italy with a friend of mine who's also a couchsurfer. It was then that I discovered a whole new world of hanging out with locals and immersing into their culture. I must say that I was so fascinated that back home I immediately created my own profile :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost everything (except heavy metal, I usually prefer something softer). Recently discovered Indian Sitar music which I find really soothing.
I prefer series to movies because it's difficult for me to stay still for 2+ hours :) So, BoJack Horseman, Infinity Train, Breaking Bad (of course), How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Katz Professional Therapist, The Mighty Boosh, Sex Education, Squid Game
Books: The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies, 1984 (still exploring the world of literature)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the August of 2023 I was so fed up with the rainy weather in Lviv that I took my work laptop and went on a journey through Ukraine for a month. I started with my hometown Odesa which is mostly hot and shiny in the summer. Overall, I visited 7 cities and lived in each of them for a couple of days, mostly being hosted by wonderful friends. The funny thing is that that August turned out to be scorching in Lviv. Apparently, the rain stopped as soon as I left the city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can tell you some funny things about famous composers which you probably didn't know :)
Also, I cook delicious syrnyky, which is a Ukrainian national dish (confirmed by my American friends)
And, of course, I promise to be a clean and respectful guest!
