Hey!
My name is Amelle and I am 20 years old. I am from France and studying in Japan, at Osaka University during the whole year.
I am interested in travelling, especially in Asia. I already travelled to Korea, and to several part of Japan so far, and I can't wait to discover even more. I think the best part in travelling, is not only the astonishment you feel in front of marvelous landscapes, but also when you meet new people, exchange with them and learn more about their lives.
This is why Couchsurfing is, I think, the best choice for my trips.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just arrived on Couchsurfing. I was thinking of an alternative to "staying in an hotel" trips, because I did some of them, and I am not keen on doing it again. I want to really discover the country, to talk with people living there, and Couchsurfing is the best way to do it safely.
I am also a very curious person, and I am eager to share with people about my experiences and to be nourished from theirs. I think there's nothing more beautiful than sharing, and I'd love to be a part of this sharing experience with Couchsurfing !

Music, Movies, and Books

In term of music : RnB music; Indie rock/ dream pop; old music classics
In term of movies : I love David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en...) , and Nicolas Winding Refn movies (Drive, The Neon Demon...) and ALSO WES ANDERSON (love him)
In general, I appreciate good thrillers but I am also into old silent movies and I love the aesthetic of cinema. In term of books : I love poetry, and I write some. I mostly read novels, and French and Russian classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in France, I was very active in helping homeless people and distributing food and hot clothes during winter time. I would love to do it again, even in Japan, but as I barely speak Japanese I don't know how to proceed ..

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach them some French, some Spanish or Arabic !
I also know how to cook a lot of things, so it would be with pleasure to share my knowledge (french, Italian and Algerian dishes mainly !) and to cook with other people so as to share our cooking tips !

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I am very interested by culture and I love travelling, I would love to share my travel experiences with hosts. I am a smiling person, and I love to discuss. I am always full of energy and I want to enjoy my experiences as much as possible. I am an easy laugher and I hope to bring a little bit of sunshine everywhere I go...
