About Me
I’m relatively new to this app because I usually stay at hostels and other backpackers usually recommend other hostels they’ve stayed in. I’ve just found out about this app and I think it’s a great way to make friends and definitely a new experience.
I had a good paying job in the corporate world, became a manager at the age of 22 when I got my masters degree, but something just didn’t feel right. So I quit my job moved to an island and lived in a hostel for 8 months. I’m starting a new chapter in my life and it involves a lot of traveling.
I’m a sociable person and I like to make new friends. I’ve worked in a family party hostel and have made friends from all over the world.
Pride myself on my ability to drink rum for multiple days in advance. I can say “why not” in 15 different languages. I only drink beer on sober nights.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience new things, share some of my memories, and learn from the hosts I will meet in the foreseeable future.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Arctic Monkeys, Panama, Country Music. But honestly I like all types of music. It really depends on my mood.
Movies: Rebel Without A Cause. Rain Man. Casablanca. I like the classics! Something feels authentic about black and white movies and movies without a lot of CGI effects or what I call “popcorn movies.” I like simple but deep storylines.
Books: I like reading Non-Fictions and Autobiographies. I like getting inside someone else’s life and experiences and be inspired by them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got peed on by an English Girl at a party hostel.
Passed out at 8 pm and woke up with dicks drawn on my face on Christmas Eve.
Jumped into a pool with no water.
Chugged one bottle (1L) of brandy and nearly died.
Surfed at 5 am while still drunk and nearly died again.
All jokes aside, the most amazing thing I’ve done was quit my 8-5 job and moved to Siargao Island.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a lot of drinking games and different cultures in the Philippines that you’ve probably never heard of.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook for you and buy you drinks. But mostly drunk and embarrassing stories.
