Music, Movies, and Books

A bit of everything. I'm very open minded. I'll watch just about anything; action, horror, documentaries, and yes, sometimes even romance (because it's just so unrealistic). I'll listen to anything from American rock music to Beijing Opera. Yes, I'm weird...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a Taobao journey to Hangzhou

Teach, Learn, Share

Coming from a developed country, when we buy something, there's usually a price tag and it's almost always non-negotiable. But in China, there's a lot of small shops where there are no price tags. The owner may offer prices based on their perception of your socioeconomic status. If you are a local native Chinese, they may offer a lower price, but if they see you are a foreigner, they jack up the price big time. So you would have to haggle to get a fairer price.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Taiwan

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, United States
