West Coast Cycling Trip.

ABOUT ME

Ance and I met in Turkey during 2008, at an educational institute for Citizen Journalism. Ance and I both enjoy the outdoors and bike riding especially. We have a little girl named Augustine who is turning 3 this July 2014!

We are currently (!preparing! - We leave July 1st 2014) cycling through Canada and down the west coast into Central and South America. Ever since Ance and I met we've talked about heading off on an epic bike trip and our lucky eggs arrived.

PHILOSOPHY

Ance and I are of the opinion that money makes people depressed. And thus we are not really interested in it. We live for each other and the friendship of others. June 2014 Edit - and our daughter Augustine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We used to host people when we were in Latvia, but since we moved to Alaska we kinda slipped off Couchsurfing. Now we are looking for couches (or yards) to crash during our cycling trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing has been wonderful, awesome, perfect, grand, and absolutely fabulous.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved from Alaska to Latvia, without really know where Latvia was beforehand.

Ance says that the amazing thing she did was let me live with her.

June 2014 Edit - Other amazing things include having a little girl and somehow convincing my wife Ance to move to Alaska so we could save up some money to head off on our cycling trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share my knowledge of completely impractical historical events and Ance could share her practical knowledge of making tasty dishes of food.

We are both game to learn anything interesting.
