About Me

I'm 25, and I love traveling and meeting new people! I enjoy learning new languages, listening to (mostly rock) music, playing guitar, hanging out with my friends, and am always looking for an adventure :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Turning 25 last year, I realized that I really haven't gotten to do as much traveling as I'd like to do. I've allowed money to be a prohibitive factor until now. I've tried AirBnB many a time, and while I absolutely love it, it'd be nice to not have to spend money on a living space while also meeting new people at the same time. I feel that staying with locals offers the amazing chance to get to know a city organically as opposed to staying in a hotel-type place and only getting to know the city on a superficial level.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen both Bill and Hillary Clinton speak in person (on separate occasions, of course)! Also, I skipped class at Pitt when I was a freshman to see candidate Barack Obama speak in Pittsburgh during his presidential run in 2008.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a pretty great cook (I have a culinary certificate), so I can cook food 🙂
I'm a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning, so I can help with that.
I have a wide ranging knowledge of current events, so we'll have amazing conversations about those topics.
I'm open to suggestions of what to share.
