About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and Learn

ABOUT ME

I love to meet new people and experience new things. I want to expand this section but I think I am a bit lazy to write it out. I think I am at the point of my life where it is very hard for me to try to say who I am. If you want to know anything, just ask. I am happy to talk about anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Live each day as it comes along. Try to experience as much as possible. I think it is the things you don't do that you regret. I also believe that planning things is trying to put things into boxes they don't fit in. I would just like to try to do things as they come to me right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I have only been to a few CS events after a friend introduced me to the website. I think its an amazing idea and I hope to be participating more in the future. I think everything is a little far in San Diego so I have not participated much here (my university is a bit out of the way from most events) but I am hoping to meet more amazing people when I am able to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to CS so don't have much experience but I would love to meet some new people on my current trip. I am a student living in dorms so it is very hard for me to host anyone. In the future, I will look into this once I have the freedom to do so.

Interests

People, music, traveling, reading, eating, cooking, culture, sports, hiking, snowboarding, tennis, movies, beer, wine. Just having fun. Being in places where I don't know whats going on and having to figure it out. Learning from new places and things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all types of movies, music and books. Some of my favourites are:

Books:
Brave New World, A Song of Ice and Fire, 1984, Harry Potter, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Norwegian Wood, Ghostwritten, Slaughterhouse Five, Factotum, The Stranger, and some more that I don't remember right now.

Movies:
Matrix, Memento, Leon, 5cm per second, Grave of the Fireflies, X-men: First Class, Kingsmen, City of God, Lost in Translation, Django Unchained

Music:
This keeps changing quite often as I like pretty much all genres. Some constants are: Daft Punk, Black Keys, Nirvana, Rolling Stones, Guns n Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Skillet, Eminem, Kygo, Hozier, Yiruma,The xx, John Legend, Lorde, Stromae, Slash, Rage Against the Machine, Justice, Digitalism, Tool, The White Stripes. There are just too many to list here.

Also, I really like Anime which I think also falls under this category. I really like Deathnote, Code Geass, PsychoPass, Steins;Gate, Rurouni Kenshin, Berserk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure what counts as amazing. I want to do something I am really proud of before I put something here I think.

Teach, Learn, Share

So I am currently really into Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics and Theory of Computer Science so I would be happy to teach anyone that. Also, anything computer related. :)

I am also decent at Tennis and Snowboarding and love them and so I can teach you either if you want. Recently, I have been trying to cook (I am not saying that I am good) and I would be happy to talk about it (just general cooking tips or flavor profiles or recipes or whatever).

And I am always looking to learn so if anyone wants to teach me anything, I think I would be pretty down for that. :D Currently, I have been trying to learn to play the guitar and maybe acquire some knowledge of music theory so its always cool to get any tips on that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually travel with alcohol from where I was last which I am happy to share and gift. I have found this to work quite well (especially for San Diego beer which is quite popular with beer people around the world.)

I can also help you cook and clean and just help you out in any way possible depending on the situation.
