My name is Ami. I'm a yoga instructor who loves to help others experience what it's like to feel safe in their body. My focus is specifically with those who experience trauma. The body is incredibly intelligent and can do a lot to heal itself, sometimes we need safe container to let that happen.

I love to meet new people and find out what lights them up. Your passion tells more about who you are more than what you do to pay the bills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined Couchsurfing to meet new people locally. I've met a lot of interesting and inspiring people along the way.

Interests

Currently, I'm learning new ways to support those in trauma. Those needs vary based on each individual's experience. Some of this trauma stems back to our birth and so I'm also studying to be a doula to support moms through their very special process.

Some of my other interests are dancing, yoga, hiking, gardening, and cooking.
