Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't always couch surf, but I have given MANY people my couch in my short-lived years. It has proven to be an incredibly fulfilling and worthwhile experience to allow people of all shapes, sizes, colors to share a piece of life their lives with me.

Working out (I love HIIT), dancing (latin and African), reading, blogging, traveling, playing the piano and singing, writing, makeup and super girly things, rock climbing, skiing (it's a new discovery for me, but I'm improving) and learning new things.

Favorite Books: Henri Nouwen's books, Bonhoeffer, V.S. Naipal, Paulo Friere
Favorite Tunes: that changes almost everyday-- but I love anything and everything. I can promise you that I have one of the most eclectic playlists that you will ever hear.
Favorite Movies: The Gladiator, of course! And, watched Titanic like 9 times in the movie theatre when it first came out when I was just girl. Does that also make it a favorite? I'm not a huge move watcher and I really cannot stand horror flicks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My husband I shared a coke with a warlord and negotiated for the life of three children that were recruited into his army.

I can do all of them. And I truly love doing all of them!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer them a friendly attitude, a teachable spirit, a genuine curiosity for their city and many, many fun stories ... and maybe a free Zumba class, if they are into that ;)
