Taking the road trip I have promised myself for the last 16 years of living in this country - that is all I care about right now... that, and moving house immediately before I leave.

ABOUT ME

I am respectful, friendly, like to giggle, can be rather quiet but easily excitable. I am easy going with a good sense of humor.

I love food! I don't actually cook so well, but am very enthusiastic about things like vegetables, and cupcakes and.. well, real food - not fast, deep fried or including ucky chemicals.
If I stay with you I will want to know where and when the nearest farmers markets are, as Sean is vegetarian and i am a vegetable-centered omnivore, and we are trying not to eat junk food on the road. I also help manage a farmers market at home so I want ideas.

I am liberal, gblt friendly, not allergic to anything, find it hard to sleep with too much light or noise, don't drink much caffine, don't smoke anything but nonjudgemental, can't sing....

I love to grow food, I love to hike & if I am in a city will end up spending most of my time in the parks. If you have a garden project I will most likely participate.

I wear mostly black, most of the time. I can't help it. The pink hair is also essential at this point. It just makes me so happy!

I'm sure there are far more worthy things to put here, but I haven't done this before so can't think of what you would really want to know. Please ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My best buddy Sean and I are about to embark on a road trip! My fantastic friend Diane hosts couch surfers on a very regular basis (she is wonderful, welcoming & so much fun!) & suggested I use CS.
I have lived in this country for 16 years and have never been West of PA. I find this sad and before gas prices soar through the roof I need to pack my bags & my 6 ft 3 friend into my MINI Cooper and break out across the country!
I will mainly be visiting family but need places to stay in between. One of the main motivators for this trip is to end up in Taos, NM to do an Earthship seminar.

When I come back and have moved into my new apartment I will be open to couch surfers, but from April 12th Until May 7th I will be somewhere between MA, CO, CA, NM and MA again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any yet, other than meeting the cool people who have stayed on my friend Diane's couch. I couple of them have come to parties at my place & always have interesting stories to tell.
