ABOUT ME
I spent my childhood moving to a new state every year because of my Dad's job. We settled in Kansas for seven years and when I turned 19, I moved to Eugene, Oregon and have been there for the past ten years. I think my childhood of moving is what inspired me to travel the world, and I've been blessed with many opportunities to volunteer my services and SEE THE WORLD, discover new cutlures, meet new people, and EXPERIENCE LIFE!

I'm a massage therapist, Reiki Master, Doula (Birth Supporter), and yoga instructor. I love backpacking, camping, music and music festivals, travel, gardening, new friends, old friends, sunshine, life!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For years, my roomate and I have hosted couch surfers under her account and it was a wonderful experience! I've been fortunate enough to utilize couch surfing a lot in my overseas travels, staying with people in Dubai, Nairobi, and Dar Es Salam. I bring kindess, respect, and gratitude for all those who welcome me into their home and have offered some comfortable places for other travelers to lay their head when I'm able.

I traveled through East Africa and Southeast Asia for nine months, trekking over 100 miles of the Himalayas, summited Mt. Killimanjaro, volunteered at a birthing center - delivering babies in Nairobi, Kenya, taught prenatal yoga in Bali, studied Thai massage in Thailand, and met some really incredible people!
