ABOUT ME
I am talkative, social, spastic, extremely clumsy and very caring. I grew up in America, Seattle Washington (west coast) and went to school at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. I studied abroad in Angers, France when I was in university and fell in love with the city so I of course decided to move back to the city after I graduated. I have been living in Angers for over six years now first while teaching English in high school and university and then to pursue my Master's Degree here (which I recently completed). I speak French and love to cook and go exploring new cities. I love being around friends and playing softball (I played for 15 years and in college) and going snowboarding!
I am always up to try something new!
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life, love your friends, be who you are, no regrets!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't had the opportunity to host until recently because I didn't have a couch in my studio apartment, but now I have moved and am really excited to host someone. I have surfed in Croatia and in Toulouse, France. Both experiences were absolutely amazing and I have made some really good friends. I am definitely a believer in this program!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite experince couch surfing was my time in Toulouse with the boys! I met a group of young guys in Toulouse when I surfed with them with some of my friends. We really got along and spent the whole time together even planned trips to go back with them later!
Interests
I love fastpitch softball, snowboarding, reading, hanging with friends, EATING, cheese, wine, trying new things, travelling, and being weird.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pillars of the Earth, Ken Follet. Anything by Tatiana de Ronsay, Steve Berry, Tracy Chevallier, Kate Mosse...pretty much anything that is historical fiction. For music I am a bit eclectic. On my own I like classic rock, folk rock, and singer/songwriter. At parties I like what's popular and electro so I can dance. If it is good and there is talent, I like it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am in a relationship with different maternal languages, it is absolutely hillarious at times when I make mistakes in the other language, but I have never had such a magical experience in my life!
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Scotland, Slovenia, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, United States
