About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To help people with whatever they might need

ABOUT ME

I love to see new things, and talk to people about the world. I think that right and wrong exist, and that it's important to do right. I try to be nice, but sometimes I'm not. I love to have fun, in weird, mainstream, and dorky ways. I like to play sports, particularly ultimate frisbee and volleyball, and also love to ride my road bike and ski in the backcountry.
I have lived in Burlington, VT, Portland, OR, Keene, NH, and now Maine. I love to share information with people about the places I've been and lived.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day we are faced with many decisions. Even the small ones are important, and it behooves each of us to know everything we can about our impact on the world and the people around us. It's possible to be a good person and have a blast. I think that there is no need to add to anyone else's suffering, and I try to exemplify that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books

There are lots of good ones. I think that everyone should be reading a book, and I think that people should try to make music or see live music more than they listen to recorded music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to a traditional Georgian supra in the Republic of Georgia, which involves eating, singing Georgian songs, drinking lots of wine, and speaking eloquently, all at the same time.
