I'm Ami, and as you can see from my pictures, this is my partner Andy, and our 5 year old Will. We're going on our first big trip as a family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're driving from Spokane, WA to Indianapolis for IndyPopCon and seeing the US on the way. A huge part of that experience is meeting people from the locations we visit and so Couchsurfing seems like the perfect place to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This may be our first roadtrip, but it isn't our first adventure. In 2013, Andy, Will, and I participated in Gishwhes and Gishwhes Hugs the World, which resulted in breaking the world record for most hugs.

We joined an international team, met amazing people in our community, raised money for charity, and hugged a lot of strangers!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We're strongly of the mind to "leave a place better than you found it." Whether that's making you breakfast or helping out where we can, sharing stories, music, or experiences.
