I'm a 25 year old architect born in kerala (india) but have been working with a studio in Goa for the past 4 years. I recently completed a residence project and it was quite exhausting i must say! So i decided to take a one year break . Im taking a gap year August onward. Ive been wanting to travel around and try a bunch of other things for a while ,and decided finally that i should just start now!
This is my first time travelling Europe on my own, but i knew from the start that i really wanted to see as much as possible and learn as much as i can in the short time that i have.
Im quite into art, design and anything creative , I am very clean and tidy, and generally enjoy any kind of house maintenance work, repair work etc.
I like to cook, ( i can make you really good Indian chai and some spicy flavorsome food! )
I am very comfortable with driving too. I am also into photography and carry around a Nikon D200. I love animals , especially dogs. Ive always enjoyed gardening and learning about plants. Im a quick learner and like trying new things.
I am quite sensitive to my surroundings and i can be a really good guest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since i'm backpacking for a year in new places and countries it would be great if i can meet new people and experience these places from a locals perspective rather than a tourist visiting.
I don't have much time in each place so I would love to make the most of it.
Again, since i;m not working for a year and on a very tight budget, having a place to stay would be Amazing, but that’s not really the whole point.
I think just meeting people and knowing people all around the world is so great.
And of course, more than just the memories of these places i'm visiting, i'd like to take back with me some great connections and friends. And now you will always have a home and a local when you come to Kerala or Goa :)

I have too many favorites. I listen to rock, alternative, electronic and indie music.
Some of my favorite artists are Radiohead, MGMT, Bonobo, Bibio, Alt-j, Daft punk, London grammar,Eddie vedder, Grizzly bear, Snowmine, Kurt vile, Mac demarco, Mammal hands, Marlins dreaming, dire straits, mumford and sons, pink floyd, pearl jam, Promises Ltd. , red hot chilli peppers, Rhye, The shins, Still woozy, Sujfan Stevens, Thievery corporation, Tycho, cigarettes after sex and so many more!
I used to play the piano and the drums, but i havent been practicing in the last few years so sort of lost touch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t believe there is one amazing thing that can be done i life. Over time, over the years there are so many amazing things , moments and memories that add up and can’t be pointed out as one moment .
