About Me
Hi! My name is Ami, I'm 20 years old and I live in Poland.
I moved to Łódź about 2 years ago to pursue higher education in traditional printing techniques and artistic graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts but I love to travel away from my new home for fun and education.
I've already used couchsurfing as a guest before but because it was with my friend, we coordinated everything from her account - so if you wish to see any opinions written on us, head over there :) my friend Nina's page: https://couchsurfing.page.link/bXkkRG6oWSFTVgGx9 (you can also find her listed in my friends on couchsurfing)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended me the service and after reading up about it a bit more I decided it would be a great opportunity to meet new people while travelling.
Interests
I'm a percussionist, a visual artist and an avid music listener.
You can find me both in moshpits at heavy concerts and in quiet cafes where I read, sketch and rest from the noise - I like to keep a good balance :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to most genres of music but I gravitate towards various metal and rock subgenres - that does not mean you won't find pop divas, classical masters or gut wrenching ballads on my playlists - I like to mix and match (balance, remember?)
From my recent re-reads I am particularly fond of The Witcher series (originally written in my native language!) which I first fell in love with as a kid, my favourite Robin is Damian Wayne and I think the original Minecraft soundtrack is the best game album out there.
When it comes to movies, I have to say the recent Superman and Mickey 17 stole my heart.
I will gladly take your recomendations for any media!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a part of a "coming of age" Eurotrip with 3 of my friends. We celebrated our high school graduation by a long trip around the continent. It included unexpected detours, many surprises and, quite frankly, best experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to both learn about your culture as well as share mine: cuisine, traditions and anything else you're interested in knowing.
If you'd like, I could tell you about various less known art techniques and talk music - I am also open to learning whatever you are willing to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am happy to cook with or for you, teach you my favourite card games and share my culture, crazy travel stories and knowledge from the art and music world.
