About Me

*Introverted traveler looking to take on the world one journey at a time.

*I'm currently doing a traineeship in Brussels for a few months. I'm absolutely looking forward to meeting new people who share a love of traveling while hopefully making valuable friendships!

*My home base is Washington, D.C. and I try to actively be part of the CS community here. We host events together and I meet up with other Couchsurfers when I visit other cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to do more travelling but it hasn't always been possible for a multitude of reasons. I've made a promise to myself to be more adventurous...even if it's starting small!

In my quest for wanderlust satisfaction, Couchsurfing serves as an affordable and nifty way to meet new people from all over the world. It also provides me the opportunity to share in cross-cultural fertilization and translate theory into practical (After all, I AM studying international relations!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organized my first solo trip to Sweden and Denmark in 2017. The Couch Surfing community played such an important role in finding friendly faces along the way who accompanied me to explore new cuisines and locations. I've been fortunate to have fantastic experiences with people from this community as I've been doing more solo travel. It's alleviated my fear of the unknown and given me new found confidence in the kindness of strangers.
