One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently I had the privilege to witness a Kinaalda, a sacred coming-of-age ceremony on the Navajo pueblo outside of Gallup, New Mexico. We stayed up all night chanting and singing in the hogan as the little girl, who the ceremony was for, accumulated all the power of the tribe in order to bless the others.
We've forgotten what it means to believe in things, to have tradition, and to hold on to something sacred. I'm glad I have this sacred experience to hold on to.
