I'm Esther.
I love adventures. I'm willing to try new things.
i respect others' cultures, ideas, philosophy. sometimes i feel i really spend lots of time chatting. However thru this way, i can catch lots of information and different interesting ideas. This world is just too fascinating especially consisted of all kinds of people.

After staying nearly 1 year in Europe, now im back to my sweet little island, Taiwan. Welcome all my friends coming to explore the island and visit me. It's definitely my pleasure to show you around if i get free time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

initially, SURFING. i planned to do my first indpendent travelling in one summer. to experience real life in each city, i'd rather to try staying in locals' home than hotels. I want my trips can be more spontaneous than just touring around. Everytime thinking of my other trips, I find that the most impressive memories are the interactions with local people. I believe joining the CS project can help me to fit in the local culture more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started with hosting two girls, Emily & Tiffany, from HongKong. It was awesome that we shared lots of stories and interests till midnight.

Then I just had my first surfing experience in Orleans, France, being hosted by Petra & Sebastien who are a lovely couple. They treated me so nice and makes me more and more addicted to couchsurfing! YEAH!

Then surf in Milan, Italy, hosted by antoher cute couple! The third time, in Czech Republic, a Romanian Erasmus girl hosted me ;-)

Interests

(or actually lots kinds of sport, i'm very outdoor)

(sometimes i can be a indoor person quietly watching movies at home. Especially my family is huge movie fan.)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: except for heavy metal, any other kinds of music are good to me. LOL i listen to music based on current mood. so it really depends. However i've always been in favor of Jason Mraz, Katy Perry, Colbie Cailat, Zee Avi, Maroon 5, The Script, Train.
About some taiwanese music, I would suggest a very cute n funny band "WONFU"! u have to go to their live concert in the bar. TIZZY BAC, Desert Chang, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

well i just feel i have really good sense of direction. lol i think it's quite essential when travelling.
AURORA with a little bit PINK color in Iceland!! way too breathetaking!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I just learned how to make Chinese Ravioli (Dumpling) from my mom. I cook sometimes when living alone.
Share expriences of traveling, the life in taiwan, films and music i like, etc.
