About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To help people travel the word in a meaningful way!

ABOUT ME

I am a long time environmentalist, currently running my eco-tourism travel company! I have traveled around the world (and still do), and enjoy the possibilities this website gives travelers. I love Washington, DC, and am happy to share the city with my guests!

PHILOSOPHY

I wake up each day with a smile, and the rest flows from there....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined in the last year, and I have hosted some amazing guests since! I have been an Airbnb host for years, and am looking forward to great surfing/hosting experiences...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some amazing surfers, and am somewhat involved with the local community. Recently, I visited Brasil, and had some great experiences with the local CS community - joined a CS hike up the Chrisro Redentor, and wondered the Urca neighborhood with another CSr that showed me some special spots in the city.

Interests

I love to hang out with friends in DC and share home-cooked meals, and I enjoy hiking and going out to dance on the weekends.

While travelling I enjoy trekking in the rainforest (which is my favorite nature setting!), and learning as much as I can about local cultures and nature.
