Overview
About Me
Have couch surfed 1 time before in London, England, and hosted 1 time before in Vancouver, Canada, but over the years I lost the information to that account and can't access it.
I was born in Rome, Italy. My father is Moroccan and my mothers family from France. When not travelling I call Vancouver, Canada home. I pursued a semi pro basketball career after I finished school, broke my ankle, and ended up going back to school for financial securities. Studied as a certified financial planner while working at a financial services company. A personal moment came that put things into perspective and was a catalyst to me stopping work and pursuing travel and philanthropy. Currently learning about different ngo's and volunteering sporadically while travelling around (specifically at community gardens, orphanages, and being a large activist against sex tourism). I have made a couple of life long friends in places I wouldn't have expected, and had great experiences with couch surfing in the past. Sincerely think that CS changes not just moments on trips, but often people's perspectives as they interact with people from countries that maybe they'd only read about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been a part of couchsurfing in the past, but have since lost the password and email to that account. I think couchsurfing is a terrific way to introduce, and be introduced to new surroundings. There's nothing better than getting the local view of a city. While making a genuine friend, hopefully later when settled I am able to host more and give my local view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on a super difficult hike in Squamish B.C Canada, to Panorama ridge. The hike is usually fairly demanding, but because of the time of year it was through mud, snow, gravel, rock, grass and even ice.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach how to shoot a basketball, or make a whistle out of an apricot pit. Fairly handy with scooter/motorbike engines.
Want to learn... in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to share and listen to stories, about travel, experiences, life in general, little anecdotes, proverbs etc etc
I have worked as a cook in the past, and specialize in making crepes, and "marca" which is a stew type Moroccan dish that you eat with your hands.
