About Me

I'm brand new to this site so that is why I don't have references but I have hosted people from Germany, Taiwan, and UAE. I am also in the process of moving so not accepting guests at this time.

I am a young, optimistic, open-minded, and adventurous guy who lives life to the fullest (cliche but true). I have an ever expanding appreciation and curiosity for life's wonders. I really love meeting new people and learning about their lives. I believe everyone has a story to share and I always welcome the opportunity to hear that story. Being an open-minded person, I will try anything at least once and am always up for new and fun adventures (spontaneity is an amazing thing). Traveling and fitness are my passions. I have traveled to 17 countries and roughly 25 states thus far with more planned each year.

“Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the past 10 years, I have traveled primarily by myself. While it has been amazing to see the sights, taste the food, drink the coffee, and dance to the music, I've found that the most memorable of moments are the ones I have shared with people I have met along my journeys. There truly is something beautiful about connecting with other human beings in this wide world of ours. So what I hope to gain with Couchsurfing is the opportunity to meet amazing people and hopefully build lasting friendships.

"I think the more you get to know someone, the more beautiful they become to you. Sure, the mystery goes away... but when you see something deeper, that means you connected with them... they become a part of you."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've flown across the valleys of Cappadocia in a hot air balloon and stayed in an igloo of Zugspitze on New Year's night.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you need someone to tag along with you somewhere or help you with anything, I'm always up for it. Or perhaps you just want someone to listen to you or give some advice about something. I really enjoy hearing about people's lives and am always willing to help as much as I can. As like all of you, I too have a story to tell. I have a pretty unique perspective on life given the fact that I used to work in the intensive care unit of the world's largest cancer center in addition to having traveled a great deal. So I feel I can bring a lot of perspective to many situations that people are facing in life.

"Life is not about making others happy. Life is about sharing your happiness with others."
