Hey guys! My name is Amina, I was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany and just recently moved to Berlin. My love for traveling and new cultures started in my early days already, because my dad is from Egypt and I grew up living the best of both worlds (cultures).

Growing up I was always surrounded by music and concerts which, until today, remain my biggest hobby. To combine my two favorite hobbies I have started to go to concerts and festivals internationally now - so if I end up staying at your place, it’s probably because I am in town for a concert!

A few years back I went abroad to Ecuador in South America for a year and strengthened my love for new cultural experiences. It was by far the best year of my life and ever since I can’t stay in one place for a long time.

I’m always on the move - whether it’s for concerts, with friends or because I need to travel and I would love to shared that with people from all around the world - make new friends and have a great time together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet people from all over the world, make new friends and real cultural experiences I wouldn’t make if I would be wandering around on my own, not really knowing where I am.

I’m really much into rap and indie rock - got a huge passion for Eminem, Arctic Monkeys but especially The Neighbourhood (whom I also follow on tour around Europe, when they are here).

I love the Harry Potter Movies but despite that my favorite movie would be “The pursuit of happiness” and movies about my favorite musicians.
