While I graduated as an electromechanical engineer, my passion for working with people shone through while volunteering at the museum and aquarium. Twenty years later I'm still at the aquarium!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I appreciate what couchsurfing stands for - connecting people - vision, language, cultures, ideals and making the world a more connected, better place.

I'm visiting the US for the first time in Aug & Sept 2017. While there I'm attending a course in Georgia as well as visiting various aquariums and other attractions in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Atlanta, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Baltimore and Washington.

I'm an editor for a science fiction reading panel and beta reader for a number of authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed along side the 12 metre high Huka waterfall in New Zealand, with approx 220 000 litres of water per minute rushing past next to me.

Due to the nature of my job I'm privileged to be able to interact with sea creatures on a daily basis and be involved with their conservation. So I've tickled a turtle, cuddled a penguin, watched the birth of baby seahorses and helped rescue sunfish.
