About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life's too short to waste bad wine

ABOUT ME

I work in a snobby industry so I try not to be a snob at all. Therefore, you'll often find me drinking cheap beer and waxing philosophical on the merits of clean underwear (or some such thing). I've been told that i'm extremely calm and laid back. But I also have one of the loudest laughs you'll ever find. I've also been known to do crazy things from time to time which can cause some embarrassment.

I like to travel, although I've been relatively stationary way too long. But I have been to Asia, Australia, Europe and various parts of North America.

PHILOSOPHY

If I'm not completely happy with things, I move, change jobs, try to fix whatever is wrong. You hear it all the time, but life IS too short. Gotta live it well while you can.

Oh. And be a good person while you're at it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great times couch surfing. Some of my BEST times. But I have yet to cousurf via couchsurf.com and am looking forward to my first time.

Interests

First and foremost (not to sound too much like a drunk, but then again I don't think I'm fooling anyone): Alcohol. Especially Wine. Literature. Historical Texts. B-rated Movies. Bad Music. Good Beer. But more often than not good music and bad beer...

I also totally dig yard games such as badminton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The World Cup in Korea took my breath away for some reason. The fan base there was amazing and being amongst MILLIONS of people marching down the street cheering for the home team was electrifying.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I know: Wine. Beer. Cooking. Farming. Various Historical references.

What I want to learn: Everything. I can learn more about wine, beer, cooking, farming, and historical references and I want to know. I also want to hear people's stories and experiences. Tell me about your culture. I'll tell you about mine.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
