Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Learning about other cultures outside your own is one of the most important things we will ever do as people. Travel is a great way to do that, as simply stepping outside your front door you see and hear things that could be very different to how your family sees the world. However, it isn’t a one-way street. Sharing and exchanging culture is vital for the whole world, so we think CS is the best way for cultural exchange!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My wife and I live in Gorgan. A few years ago she went to Isfahan to finish her PhD thesis for 3 month in the university of Isfahan. On her 3rd or 4th day there, she messaged me:
Her: What do you need from here?
Me: I have no idea… You know I don’t know what I want 99% of the time… :)
A few moments later…
Her: Do you need new pair of sport shoes? Cause you have been saying you noticed new discomfort in your feet after walking and running with current one.
Me (thinking): HOW DO YOU KNOW ME BETTER THAN I KNOW MYSELF???
So here you go. The best thing that happened to me in life is my wife. The person that knows me better than anyone and knowing how weird I can be - still wants to be with me for some reason.
