It is always more difficult for me to describe myself rather than being described by others. I consider this poem as a good introduction: "The journey took me to tropic lands
And under the shade of the sturdy green “Banians”(a tree) how well I remember
The sentence that entered the summer resort of my mind:
Be wide and lonely and humble and firm!"

Well, a little autobiography I am Amir, and I was born in the heart of Zagros mountains at Khorram Abad city, Iran. My childhood was full of good memories specially with the presence of my older brother and younger sister. We used to play amazing creative games with each other. During my school time, besides the normal studies, I was an active member of cultural/sports activities like research, writing small newspaper, chor, and Art. Then the university started and I moved to the capital city of Tehran. I used to work in a company parallel to my studies. After finishing my bachelor, I moved to the Netherlands to start my Master. Then I moved to Italy for a short time before getting started on my Research in Germany.
I am fanatical about the arts and I like sports, although It is sometimes hard to go in deep on these two. But I try to make a balance.

I believe in the idea of the small village. We are now close to each other more than ever. As long as we are literally a human we can respect, trust and share love with each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is always intresting to help and be helped! As the famous poem of Saadi Shirzai says : "Humans are the limbs of one/the same body,
and are from the same essence in their creation.
When the conditions of the time hurt one of these parts,
other parts will suffer from discomfort/restlessness, as well.
If you are indifferent about the misery of others,
it is not deserving to call you a human being."
beside that learnig never ends. I would like to know more through learning the world of others. This would be possible by accompany other people from all over the world.

Interests

In my opinion there are many things which we can enjoy, ranging from drinking a tea in an afternoon in in the terrace to climbing the far high mountains, or laying on sands in a beach.
So it is quite broad range of interests in this sense. I enjoy Playing volleyball, go swimming, hiking, playing guitar and singing, Calligraphy, Dancing (Salsa) and of course traveling to name some of my interests.

Rock music gives me an strange feeling, which I like it. My favorite movie is Troy and I enjoy reading fictions and poems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling around Iran by motorbike and camping. It was and amazing experience and lasted 25 days. Making tea on top of the fire made of pieces of wood, at distant hills, sleeping under the blanket of stars in the desert, passing through the foggy routes, drinking water from spring directly by mouth, experiencing different local foods and meeting kind people ....are some of my experiences in this adventure.
