I’m a really social person and love to meet people from all different backgrounds. The world fascinates me and I’m constantly curious to see what it has to offer. I love to have fun, maybe a little too much fun but life’s too short to sit around and watch it pass you by. Besides, the world is too big to just stay in one place. I’m an active person with determination and big aspirations. I like to make the best of everything and create the absolute best time for myself and everyone around me. I know one day far from now, I’ll be able to look back and say I lived the best life I could.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Next summer I plan on couch surfing across Europe and the Middle East. This year I hope to be a great host and gain great friendships!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have hosted a few people at my house and its been an amazing experience so far.

Besides being at school four days a week I like to spend my time being active at the gym and riding my bike around the city. I play pick-up games of basketball and soccer a few times a month and love to watch both of these sports compete whenever there on. I am much more of a night person so I usually am out late with friends going to movies, bars and friends’ houses. I love to have people over my house to listen to music and talk. One of my favorite things to do at home is play some fun drinking games with a group of friends. We also set up a poker tournament every now and then. During the week ill cook and on the weekends I like to indulge a bit and eat out. Whenever a opportunity comes up to travel I take it 9 times out of 10. It simply my favorite thing to do and I will focus on what I have to do to make it work. It’s pretty spontaneous but very fun!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first thing that comes to mind was my last trip to Dominica. This island is one of the most breathtaking places one could ever see. I would describe it as paradise. Dominica had so much to offer from snorkeling around thousands of fish and sea life to their natural hot springs heated from their volcano. It is also worth mentioning their magical rain forest with warm and cold water creeks coming off of hundred foot waterfalls. The people in Dominica were some of the nicest in the world and it is definitely an amazing place to visit.

The first time I heard about couch surfing was while I was traveling through Amsterdam in 2010. I met a girl originally from Australia who had been traveling for 6 months. At the time I never gave the website she mentioned much thought and to be honest thought it was a bit crazy to do. But for some odd reason I would randomly think about this girl and her long journey and this prompted me to go to this website 2 years later. Browsing around and reading about these world travelers has truly inspired me to participate and be apart of this community.
