Overview
About Me
I'm a half Egyptian Indigenous Canadian who like everyone else loves to meet others and explore the world. Though I've graduated university, which I loved, but wasn't the greatest at, I feel the best education I've had has definitely been the day I packed my bags and went on a partially planned solo trip to Portugal where I was never really alone because I would constantly meet so many pleasant and lovely people whom to this day I've kept in touch with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I guess being on Couchsurfing is continuing to put yourself out there and I think Couchsurfing is 'out there' but in the most positive way. When you're on the road, you get to be a part of so many different communities internationally and it's the greatest feeling in the world. There are places I've had the chance to be and visit and it still hits me that wow, I'm here. And when you're on the road sometimes you want somewhere that feels a lot less like a dorm or a hotel room, but more like that feeling when you go visit a good friend or family member and you're having such a great time that it gets to that point in the evening were they say, "just spend the night".
