My name is Amira! I’m Egyptian and Ecuadorian, both very important to me. I love all my traditions, culture, food and music. I live and work in NYC as a chef, trying to learn everything I can from croissants to sushi. Besides working way too much, I wanna travel when I have a second to breathe and make new friends. It’s hard to find good people with adventurous minds, so I’m here! Hope I can host and be hosted so we can all the see a little bit of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been working ever since I turned 18 so I'm trying to travel more and experience to make up for being a workahaolic. I think this would be a fun and safe to get to know others in other countries so we can all visit each other. It reminds me of when my friends graduated from international school in Egypt, we all went to out separate countries. Then I’d visit later on- that’s how I got to Norway, Ireland, Spain, etc. If you ever need an ear somewhere, just head to Egypt or Ecuador I got you.
