About Me
I'm 26 and I'm retired! Living in Cairo most of my life has been very consuming, therefore I'm usually away from the crazy city life.. I love being closer to the sea and I love the desert and the mountains. I'm a pretty outgoing person, I get along with most people because I've been in and out of jobs/schools/workshops and travels for a long time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is very eclectic but for starters my all time favorite song (and has been for the past 10 years) is shine on you crazy diamond (pink floyd)
I love Home and Human (the documentaries) as well as Into the Wild and Memoirs of a Geisha, those are movies I can watch over and over and over again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
@tahrirsupplies on twitter
During the Egyptian revolution (2011) a friend of mine started @tahrirsupplies to help connect donations (food/medicine/equipment) to field hospitals. I joined within the first week, I think, and the four of us managed a platform that outgrew our expectations. Within a few days, @tahrirsupplies managed to overstock hospitals and within a few months, the platform connected thousands of people resulting in big happy things including tons of free surgeries. I wouldn't give credit to the platform as much as I would give it to the people but @tahrirsupplies was by far the most emotional experience in my life and it probably always will be, it taught me everything I know about sacrifice and compassion. Therefore I take pride in being part of this amazing team.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can pass on my yoga and cooking experience. I can also DIY pretty much anything so I love teaching/learning that.
I'd love to work on my Italian, my almost dead piano skills and I always love learning about organic gardening/ growing food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bit of my soul.. the best way I can connect with people is through serious deep talks on the meaning of life, philosophy, culture, dreams of a better world and all that jazz.
