About Me

An open minded person, always eager to meet new people and talk to them.I am a big fan of traveling. The US has always been my dream,so I made it true. I am a Fulbrighter in Connecticut.I teach Arabic which is my first language. In my country,Algeria, I am basically a teacher of English .I have grown up watching American movies and shows. So, I am so excited to learn closely about the American culture from other people. My role in the US is not only teaching,it is also cultural ambassadorship. My Bachelor’s degree is about Culture. And, I am still interested in broadening this field. I have only one year here in my Fulbright program. I did not have the chance to meet the right people with the same interests in the first semester in my university. So, I am really disappointed. I don’t want to leave the US with an empty experience. I want an enriching one full of new life-long connections and moments and stories to tell to my grand grand children one day. Also, I want to share this with my people and pupils in Algeria and help them see a better image of the US and change stereotypes they hear about in media.
