About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am here to be fully alive, awake, authentic and to offer my life in service of others. I want only to connect deeply at the heart level and to be intoxicated with Divine Love. I love silence too.
ABOUT ME
I am known for my contagious laughter, sincere devotion, sense of humor, light heartedness, sensitivity and terrible sense of direction. I love connecting with people but I much prefer to go deep into the heart of matters than to skim the surface of things. I keep a steady meditation and yoga practice, love yummy healthy food, try to sleep early, love opportunities to help others and generally try to take good care of my self so I can show up in the world with a smile. I love singing and always travel with a ukelele. I am highly curious about all religions and love talking about anything that brings us closer to feeling connected with the Divine One.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to listen to my intuition more often than I listen to my logic. It is easy to confuse the two because the mind has a way of taking over the internal dialogue and persuading us that the heart is crazy. I believe that intuition desperately tries to lead us down our truest path, to warn us of danger, and to beg like a child seeking attention when we are overlooking something important.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's been a while since I have used Couchsurfing as I was living in an ashram in India these past two years. But in the past I have been hosted several times in other countries by some amazing Couchsurfers and I have met up a few folks for chats as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met some of the most amazing people through CS and also met amazing people I later found out were on CS. I fully believe and support in the CS project. When I first landed many years ago in India, I was eased into the scene by several wonderful people that I am happy to still call friends. I've been living in an ashram for the past 2 years and will soon head to another one in France, so I don't have the capacity to host but I still really adore this platform.
Interests
Many of my interests trace back to the four elements; water, air, fire, earth. I love being under the suns rays, playing in water, feeling the wind on my face or better yet, becoming part of the wind. I love feeling the earth under my feet, laying on her solidness, wiggling my toes in sand. I also love all things that bring me back to our roots, listening to drums, cooking over an open flame, sleeping under the stars, making things from scratch, the long slow way. I am interested in people's hearts, yoga, spirituality, self-exploration, food, balance, culture, history, story-telling, sustainability, and on and on.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my medicine. I love kirtan (devotional music from India & Nepal) and play a few songs. I also love music from around the world that makes me want to dance - middle eastern, flamenco, reggae, salsa, tribal and anything with good drumming. I love the fusion of other genres with Mantra, like hip-hop, electronic, belly dance - anything creative and beautiful with conscious intent. I tend to snack from books as needed, depending on what's interesting to me at the moment, and rarely read one from cover to cover unless it totally captivates me. I don't remember the last time I watched a movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I have done is move to Costa Rica on a whim. I arrived without plans, and left with great friends, unforgettable memories, and the realization that all of us can do anything we want if believe it is possible. Then I did it again, this time in Asia. I left for what was supposed to be a 4-month trip and ended up traveling across Asia, living in an ashram in Nepal and traveling around the world again with my yoga teacher. And than, on another whim, I decided I wanted to live in Hawaii. So I did and lived blissfully on the Big Island for a year and a half, teaching yoga, bringing community together, hosting kirtans and enjoying nature and friends. And just recently it happened again. I meant to go to India for 2 months and stayed for 2 years fully dedicating my time to spiritual practices and volunteering.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share what I love with others. I am happy to share what I have learned about yoga, to practice together, to make healthy meals. My heart is with kirtan, which is sacred music that comes from India and Nepal, I will most likely have my instruments with me and happy to share songs and even teach you a few!!! I have traveled a lot and lived a full and adventurous life. Perhaps the greatest thing I can share is my love and gratitude for life . I am happy to learn anything that makes me wiser, better, stronger, healthier or is just interesting and fun!!
