👨🏻‍⚕️I am a 31 years old physician and currently living in Essen. At the time I am pursuing my professional carrier as a heart surgeon.

🏕️Traveling and getting to know people from all over the world is my passion in life. I love planning for a long trip and I travel whenever I get the chance. I mostly travel alone and with my backpack. I like Hitch-hiking, wondering in the nature, trekking and also mountain climbing. I am not a professional mountain climber, but I am trying to be one. The highest summit I reached was Damavand Mountain with 5611 meters height, which is the highest mountain in middle east and highest volcano in Asia. 🌋

🎼I Love music, play an instrument (Iranian hammered Dulcimer or Santour) and I am also a singer (not as a profession). I am energetic, I love party, dancing, wandering in the city, talking on different topics and sharing cultural differences and also discussing controversial ideas with an open mind.

📚I love reading books, and my interest lies mostly in philosophy, history and literature, but I think I learn from talking to other people, much more than reading different books.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling and making new friends each day is a passion in my life. I heard about this amazing community and told myself this is what I've always wanted, a place to meet people so eager and passionate in life, just like me. Couchsurfing is a good platform to find people with open minds and big hearts far away from racism and stereotypic beliefs.

🎶 I like to try different music genre, but mostly Jazz, classical, folk and new age. Pavarotti, Bocelli, Charles Aznavour, Celine Dion, Frank Sinatra and Anathema are my favorites.

🎥 My favorite directors are Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky and Stanley Kubrick. Also I love Nolan's works. My favorite movies are: The seventh seal, Wild strawberries, Nostalghia, God Father, Inception.

📚 My favorites are: A history of western philosophy by Bertrand Russell; Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche; Eichmann in Jerusalem by Hannah Arendt; and Irvin D. Yalom's books like When Nietzsche wept, Existential psychotherapy and The Schopenhauer cure

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life itself is an amazing thing and every day is a journey. Planning to reach Davamand mountains' summit (5611m) and reaching it 4 months later was amazing for me and also doing some aggressive medical procedures in emergency settings was amazing experiences for me.

I love to read books on different subjects but I believe the best way of learning new things is through discussion and meeting new people. Life is an open book we just need to know how to read it. I love to share my experiences and be a part of others good memory ☺️😉
