I am Amit and am an open minded Indian born, New Zealand citizen. I am based in Auckland since the past 17 years and work in a very famous Finance company here. Hobbies include travelling, food, driving etc. So far have traveled to Japan (5 times), South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Fiji and Cook Islands. I am learning Japanese language during my free time.

I really am not into clubbing, partying etc. due to a busy life style, but with those few near and dear ones in my life that I click with, I love to spend quality time watching a movie or two with a beer or wine, talking about the plot of the movie and discussing life stories and future ambitions, life goals etc.

Mine is a busy work life, day starts early so as to beat the traffic, 8-4.30 job, but reach work by 7am and return home by 5.30pm. I love feeding pigeons and sparrows who without fail wait for me on the roof, at the exact time I return back from work...perhaps one of the loyal species on Earth.....they know my time schedule well or they know their time schedule well as to when they will get fed. During weekends, I tend to go on random drives perhaps to film Youtube videos, or catch up with my friends or just laze around doing nothing :)

These are few little things and moments in life that I enjoy! My life is like an open book, either read it and become a part of the story, or ignore it as that one book title that you may have once glanced through during your trip to a library!

Looking forward to meeting open minded people from all around the world through my future travels and through couchsurfing, people who are fearless, keen to explore the world, keen to explore the nice encounters, keen to explore the joys that life has to provide through such encounters, keen to explore and connect with "People"!

I am into Youtube documentaries about food, travel etc.
In terms of Music, I love electronic beats (Techno) ...any band as long as its lively and positive and don't sound depressing...
Movies :- Any Comedy, Romantic and Horrors flicks!
Some times R18 kinda too :) why shy or fear when everyone does that ! :)

Books :- I generally prefer autobiographies, motivational kinda non-fictional, real life stories! "Who Moved my Cheese", "Secret" etc.

Can try and teach a few sentences in Hindi language, or Japanese or English. Subject to my time schedule and mood, can try and teach you cook some Indian food or basics of Yoga or how to film Youtube videos :)

My "Time" subject to work schedule :). Time, weather and mood permitting, can take you around for a short drive to show you few beautiful spots of Auckland city or overnight trips to other cities near by like Rotorua, Taupo etc.
