About Me
Shalom!
I'm 24, a student (aesthetics, ancient greek philosophy and Jewish culture with expertise in Jewish philosophy) at Tel Aviv University. living with my boyfriend for the past two years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I see it traveling shouldn't be a smooth Hop-on hop-off experience. The long hours waiting to catch a ride, or getting lost in unknown surroundings is critical for achieving a good grasp of the new as a whole.
And as a traveler, I wish to witness exactly that! to know that I'd stumbled on some obstacles on my way, or didn't leave without opening myself to the new or letting something to change me from up close.
I think that I'm on CS especially due to a possibility of an honest meeting with other individuals who expect the same. If you think it through, who really can deny an honest invitation to one's home? it just skips the essence, the juice, of the real travel experience.
