ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old, who had previously been very shy, and never got out of the house. All that has changed, and I'm ready to meet EVERYONE and see EVERYTHING. I can talk about almost anything, and I am purportedly a great listener as well.

I'm currently struggling with the desire to live the 'American dream' having a house, wife, kids, steady boring job, etc. versus selling (almost) everything I have and travelling the world, working odd jobs and seeing the beauty this planet has to offer. I think CS will help me make my choice towards the latter.

I'm VERY new to CS, but am SO excited about it.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have two couches and a spare room. I've never 'officially' hosted, nor 'officially' surfed via CS. But I've had plenty of friends/acquaintances surf with me, and I've crashed on many a couch. I love this concept and the structure CS has to offer!

I'd love to meet anyone and take them out on the town (I'm within 15 minutes of Downtown Houston, and know quite a bit of the sights!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Kenya, I saw a lion sitting on a rock, and exclaimed "Simba!", shortly thereafter I saw a lion chase down, kill, and drag a baby buffalo (right in front of our safari van) into a thicket. That was intense.

I jumped off the tallest building in Vegas, the Stratosphere, (guides attached) - that was also intense.

When I was younger, the completely different culture and mindset of the population in India left me utterly changed concerning the gratitude I have for the life I live/have been given.
