About Me

Hey there! Just moved down to CPT from JHB a couple of months ago and I love it here!! Working as an actuary at PwC at the V&A Silo District. I’m looking for some loving, laughing and a teeny bit of adventuring. Love meeting new people so hit me up for some lo-key chilling and hi-key partying or just any adventure, from hiking to open-air concerts to beach trips etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My three favourite things in this world: meeting new people, ‘money’a non-grata and listing things.

Interests

Guitar, Jogging, Fortune-telling, hiking, biking, wild-water river rafting, sky-diving, and with a 95% confidence interval: statistical inference.

Music, Movies, and Books

John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Mathew mole and Lin-Manuel Miranda are the music gods of this generation - but there’s truly nothing like some good, clean, smooth coffeehouse jazz. And Yuval Noah Harari, Chris Ryan, Chris Carter and Tom Rob Smith - anything actiony or ‘make you rethink your reality’y are my go to rainy day reading vibes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked solo through India for 2 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

as a young soul, I’m on this journey of self-discovery to learn not only what kind of a person I am, but on the way picking up life mantras to help me mold my
own personal identity. I’m fun, kind, helpful, patient, good at listening and I get no greater joy than that which I feel when seeing people smile. that is of only the highest importance on my journey’s - to collect as many smiles as possible and maybe learn a few neat things along the way about living, loving and seeing the world through a kaleidoscope of different ideas. Hopefully I can try share a bit of the adventure which is my life and my mish-mash of culture and heritage and bring as much diversity to your homes as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some E-major blues jamming, my world famous spaghetti cooking, an eager chore helping hand and hopefully some stories, jokes and a whole lot of wholesome bonding.
