About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make the most out of the time I have! I want to invest in friendships, see the world, and learn everything available to me.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous, outgoing American girl who loves to travel and appreciates culture. I can be studious and enjoy discussing politics and philosophy, but I also love to have fun. I have a lot of great friends and family, but there's always room for more!

PHILOSOPHY

"The lust for comfort murders the passion of the soul and walks grinning to the funeral." - Kahlil Gibran

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I am spending three months traveling through Australia and the surrounding area. I am hoping to take advantage of couch-surfing while I am here because it has always been such a great experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got to couchsurf while I was visiting Marseille and it was amazing. My host not only welcomed me to her home, but also took me and my friend out for breakfast in Cassis. I also had the opportunity to couchsurf in Brussels, and I had another wonderful experience. As before, we shared breakfast and lovely conversation. In both situations, my hosts were a big highlight of my trip. My next couchsurfing experience was in Munich, with a great young couple who hosted us for several days. We ate together, talked, watched TV and got along really well.

I am happy to say that I have couchsurfed in America as well, and it has been just as great as my other experiences. I stayed with a really great couple during a weekend trip to Philadelphia as well as with a wonderful woman in Chicago. With both sets of hosts, I was able to spend time with them personally in addition to crashing on their couches, and I am so glad I tested this out in my native land too!

I hope to get the chance to repeat the experience in many other places. This is absolutely the best way to travel!
