Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

So far I've traveled with family or friends, but for the first time, I am traveling by myself. I like to meet local, nice people wherever I go, and this looks like a great platform to do so. It is really amazing how small the world has gotten, but at the same time - how much there is to discover.

I hope to be able to host Couchsurfers in the future for the same reasons!

Quite basic, but everyone has to start somewhere!

Homebrewing - I brew my own IPA, which is my favorite kind of beer. I like to host friends at my place, and hosting with beer is even better!

Gaming - I have to warn you I am very good at Mario Kart. and very terrible at Starcraft. I aspire to design games in the future.

Podcasting - I host a monthly podcast with my friends, called Palsef, in which we discuss Philosophy, Psychology, Art, and Dad-jokes. Content creation is my newest passion.

I overcame my life-long phobia of dogs by fostering two shelter-home dogs (named Chewie and Scotty, for those interested) for a few months.

Ever since, I've been petting random dogs on the street, and I get exited just to be around big and fluffy canines!

I plan to adopt one very soon!

Photography - I can make you a great portrait, and teach you the basics of how to take some yourselves. I am quite fluent in the DSLR jargon!

Programming - I am an experienced programmer, and I can help you around the beginner pitfalls. Let's talk about startup ideas!

Cooking - I know my way around the kitchen, and I specialize in local Israeli cuisines such as Schnitzel, Ptitim, and Shakshooka. I would love to make you some! Star-Shaped Ptitim will change your life.

I've recently started learning Turkish so I can have a secret language with my SO (well at least around here), but it's still 'Duolingo'-level. I'd like to learn some if possible.
